Businesses have become increasingly dependent on being able to access the Internet. However many sites will have different needs in terms of performance, cost, and speed of repair. To address these varying needs MDNX has an extensive range of options based on the local access networks of all the major UK carriers.MDNX is an independent integrator, meaning it can design remarkably intricate networks using a model that integrates all of the major UK carriers infrastructure and technology into its Core Integration Network. So, whether its lead time, price points, SLA’s, diversity or product availability that’s important to you, integration allows you to choose your technology, network, and products for individual site locations within your network. Pioneered by MDNX, it means your network can now be designed with clarity and precision, giving you maximum choice.

Shared broadband – a mixed economy
In future, UK broadband (including super-fast broadband) will be available in the form of a ‘mixed economy’. This means that premises that are close to the local serving exchange and do not have a street cabinet on the line, so called’exchange direct fed lines’, will be provided with FTTP. Those premises further out from the serving exchange with a street cabinet situated on the line nearer to the end user will have FTTC availability. Finally within the same FTTx enabled exchange area, those furthest out in the more remote locations or with little by way of dense population, are likely to remain with ADSL2+ services.
